Privacy Policy
How MSP Hire collects, uses, and shares personal information — written to match what this site and our screening process actually do.
The short version
- Our website has no contact forms, no newsletter signup, and no comments. We do not collect your name or email just because you browsed the site.
- We use Google Analytics to understand traffic. That sets cookies and shares your IP address and browsing activity with Google.
- If you apply for a job, you do that in our applicant tracking system (JazzHR). That is where we collect resumes, assessments, and interview recordings.
- If you book a call, that happens on Calendly, and Calendly collects your scheduling details.
- We share candidate information with the employer you are being considered by. That is the service.
- We do not sell your personal information.
1. Who we are
MSP Hire, Inc. (“MSP Hire,” “we,” “us”) is a screening and recruiting firm serving managed service providers and IT companies. This policy explains what we do with personal information collected through msphire.com and through our screening and recruiting services.
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at vScreening@MSPhire.com.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide when you apply for a role
Job applications are submitted through our applicant tracking system, JazzHR (links from this site go to msphire.applytojob.com). Depending on how far you go in the process, we may collect:
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number, and general location.
- Your resume and the work history, education, skills, and other information contained in it.
- Your responses to our written (non-technical) email interview.
- Results of pre-hire assessments, which measure cognitive skills and psychometric traits.
- Video interview recordings, along with our interviewer’s notes and evaluation.
- Any other information you choose to send us during the process.
2.2 Information you provide as a client or prospective client
If you book a call with us, scheduling is handled by Calendly, which collects your name, email address, any details you type into the booking, and meeting time. If you go on to work with us, we collect the business contact and role information needed to run your search.
2.3 Information collected automatically when you visit this site
- Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID
G-DFDZJYH0YG) on every page. It sets cookies and collects pages viewed, approximate location, referring site, device and browser type, and your IP address. - Server logs. Our web host records standard request logs, including IP address, user agent, and time of request.
We do not run advertising pixels or social-media trackers on this site — there is no Meta pixel, LinkedIn Insight tag, or similar.
2.4 Third parties that receive data because of how this site is built
Some page assets load from other companies’ servers. When your browser requests them, those companies necessarily receive your IP address and basic request information:
| Service | Used for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Traffic measurement (sets cookies) | All pages |
| Google Fonts | Typefaces used in the design | All pages |
| unpkg (Leaflet) | Map library | Home page |
| CARTO / OpenStreetMap | Map tiles for our coverage map | Home page |
| Calendly | Booking a call (only if you click through) | Link only |
| JazzHR | Job applications (only if you click through) | Link only |
3. How we use information
- To evaluate candidates for roles and recommend them to the hiring employer.
- To communicate with you about an application, a role, or a search.
- To provide our screening service to client employers, including delivering interview recordings, notes, and documentation.
- To follow up after a hire to confirm onboarding went well.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website and understand which pages are useful.
- To meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.
4. How we share information
- With employer clients. If we recommend you for a role, we share your application materials, assessment results, interview recording, and our notes with that employer. This is the core of what we do, and we only do it for roles you have applied to or agreed to be considered for.
- With service providers. Companies that run parts of our operation on our behalf — our applicant tracking system (JazzHR), assessment providers, scheduling (Calendly), email and cloud hosting, and analytics.
- For legal reasons. Where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- In a business transfer. If MSP Hire is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. On this site they come from Google Analytics and from WordPress itself (for example, if you log in as an administrator). Analytics cookies are off until you accept them in the cookie notice shown on your first visit, and you can change that choice at any time.
You can control cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google’s browser opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using this site. You can also reopen your cookie choice at any time.
6. How long we keep information
We keep candidate information for as long as needed to consider you for current and future roles, and to meet our legal and contractual obligations. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep it. Client and business records are kept for the life of the relationship plus any period required for tax and legal purposes. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, ask us to limit how we use it, and appeal a decision. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
California residents
Under the CCPA/CPRA you may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to; request deletion or correction; and limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
EU, UK and other regions
Where GDPR or similar law applies, our legal bases for processing are your consent, the steps necessary to enter into or perform a contract (evaluating you for a role), our legitimate interests in operating a recruiting business and a secure website, and compliance with legal obligations. You may also have the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
To make a request, email vScreening@MSPhire.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
This site and our services are intended for working-age adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Links to other sites
Our site links to third-party sites, including Calendly and our JazzHR job board. Once you are on those sites, their privacy policies govern — not this one.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or tools change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
